Dallas SEO Pricing

Most SEO pricing pages give you three columns. Bronze, Silver, Gold, a number under each one and a row of checkmarks underneath. It looks like transparency. It is not, because every one of those columns was priced before anyone had looked at your website.

I quote after I look. The number you get reflects the condition your site is actually in, the market you are actually competing in, and what it will actually take to move you.

What decides the number

Two businesses in the same trade can sit two zip codes apart and need completely different budgets. These are the things that move it:

  • How hard the market is. Ranking a plumber in Prosper and ranking a plumber in Dallas proper are not the same job. One has a dozen competitors. The other has hundreds, and several of them have been working on it for ten years.
  • What condition the site is in. A site that needs technical repair before it can rank costs more in the first two months and less after that. A site that is already clean starts producing sooner.
  • How many things you need to rank for. One service in one city is a different scope than six services across five suburbs.
  • Whether pages need to be built or only fixed. Writing and building new service pages is real work. Repairing pages you already have is less of it.
  • How fast you want to move. The same plan can run over six months or twelve. Compressing it costs more per month.

None of that is knowable from a contact form. It takes an hour of actually looking, which is why the first step here is a conversation and not a quote.

The consultation is free, and it is not a sales call

Before I put a number on anything, I go through your website, your Google Business Profile, and what the businesses ranking above you are doing that you are not. Then I walk you through what I found.

You get that whether or not you hire me. If what I find is that your site is fine and your real problem is that nobody is answering the phone, I will tell you, and I will not send a proposal. I would rather give up an hour than take a retainer for work that was never going to change your revenue.

The point of the call is to find out quickly whether this is worth the time for either of us. Sometimes the answer is no. That is still a useful answer.

You are never locked into anything

No annual agreement. No cancellation fee. Billing runs month to month, and if you want to stop you stop at the end of the month. Everything built along the way, the pages, the profile, the content, belongs to you and stays with you.

One honest caveat. Search is not a thirty day product. Technical repairs and Google Business Profile work can show movement fast. Ranking in a competitive DFW market usually takes a few months before the trend is clear, and anyone promising page one by Friday is either buying ads or lying to you. If you need leads this month, I will say so and point you at ads instead.

So the month to month is not an invitation to judge the work in three weeks. It is there so you stay because it is working, not because you signed something.

What a month actually includes

Scope changes by client, but nearly every engagement is some mix of these:

  • A full technical audit at the start, with the fixes applied, not just listed in a PDF and handed back to you
  • Ongoing local SEO, meaning citations, on page work, internal linking and schema
  • Google Business Profile management, including posts and review responses
  • Location and service pages written and built where the market calls for them
  • Monthly reporting that shows rankings, traffic and inquiries in plain language

You also deal with me. There is no account manager in between and no junior quietly handing your site to a tool. The individual services are broken out on the services page.

What to have ready

Nothing formal. It helps if you have a rough idea of what one new customer is worth to you and how many more of them you could actually handle in a month. Those two numbers decide whether SEO makes sense for your business more than anything on my end does.
