Avant Dallas SEO works out of Frisco and serves businesses across the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. Below is where we work and, more usefully, what makes each of those markets different.
Why we do not run one DFW campaign
The metroplex is treated as a single market by almost everybody selling marketing into it. It is not one market. It is a collection of local economies that happen to share a set of highways.
A business in Prosper is selling to households with a median income near 176,000 dollars in a town that barely has commercial space. A business in Carrollton may need to be findable in two languages. A business in Fort Worth gains from being visibly local in a way that would be irrelevant in Plano. A business in Little Elm is competing against four people, and a business in Dallas is competing against four hundred.
Search engines already understand this. Local results are weighted heavily by distance and by how well your business matches a specific place. So the campaign that wins in one of these cities will underperform in the next one over, and the agency running identical work in all of them is quietly wasting a portion of every client’s budget.
That is why each city below has its own page with its own strategy rather than a template with the name swapped.
Collin County and the northern suburbs
Frisco
Our home base. Fast growing, heavily built out around sports and entertainment venues, and now absorbing theme park traffic. Competitive, well funded, and a market where the specific beats the broad every time.
Plano
Corporate headquarters on one side of Central Expressway and an older, quieter residential city on the other. Two different buyers, two different search strategies. Most Plano businesses are optimizing for the wrong one.
McKinney
The historic square drives the visitor economy, the county courthouse drives a professional services cluster, and a commercial airport arriving this year is about to create search demand that does not exist yet.
Allen
A city that pulls in far more visitors than it sends out, thanks to the outlets and the Event Center. Also a mature suburb, which means growth comes from taking a competitor’s customer rather than catching a new arrival.
Prosper
The most lopsided market in North Texas. Very high household income, very little commercial density, and a steady leak of spending into Frisco and McKinney that local businesses can win back.
Denton County and the lake
Little Elm
The best value on this list right now. Thin competition, a population that has grown more than tenfold since 2000, and a seasonal rhythm driven by Lewisville Lake that almost nobody plans content around.
The mid cities
Carrollton
The most diverse market we work in, home to the largest Korean community in Texas, plus a serious distribution and industrial base near the airport. Bilingual search is a real ranking problem here and almost no agency addresses it.
The two big cities
Dallas
Hard, expensive and worth doing correctly. The businesses that succeed here stop chasing citywide terms and start owning the neighborhoods that actually produce their revenue.
Fort Worth
Now past a million residents and the tenth largest city in the country. Customers here actively prefer local, which makes the signals that prove you belong to this city worth more than they are anywhere else.
If your city is not on this list
We work throughout the metroplex, including Celina, Wylie, The Colony, Aubrey, Anna, Melissa, Richardson, Lewisville and Denton. These nine have pages because they are where most of our work sits, not because they are a boundary.
We also take work outside Texas. The word Dallas in our name is a statement about the market we know best, not a limit on where we operate.
How this usually starts
With an audit, and an honest answer. We look at where you currently rank, who is beating you, and whether the gap is technical, content or reputation. Sometimes the finding is that you should spend six months on your Google Business Profile and nothing else. We would rather say that than sell you a retainer you are not ready for.
We meet clients in person. For local businesses that first conversation across a table is worth more than a month of email, because the questions people ask out loud are better than the ones they type.
See what we do and what it costs.
Request a free SEO audit. Tell us which city you sell into and we will build the review around that market rather than a generic checklist.
